After twenty years of interior decorating and color matching, Betty found watercolor, pastel and oil painting to express her inner creative force. She searches for light and intuition in each piece. "I just love when a painting creates itself".
Studio 211 Gallery at Open Square allows one to see a progression of changing attitudes through multiple mediums. "I need to live a few more lifetimes to do everything on my list". Her works have been displayed in South Deerfield, Belchertown, Chicopee, West Springfield and Holyoke.

Who are we?
We are creative people with studios at Open Square in downtown Holyoke. We are a diverse group: painting, illustration, sculpture, pottery, photography, fashion design, web and graphic design; plus a theater company, and ballet studio. We believe in the future of downtown Holyoke and are excited to be part of the re-birth of this wonderful historic city.
